Motor insurer Highway has launched a new commercial approved repairer network (CARN) in partnership with TMS Fleet.
Highway said the service is tailored specifically for commercial customers and will use specialist repairers, claims handlers and engineers to ensure the most convenient repairer is allocated to the customer.
Highway claims director Peter Gallagher said: “The network will ensure that our commercial customers are kept moving and speak to people who understand their specific needs reinforcing our commitment to providing a first-class claims service.
“In accordance with FSA guidelines this will provide greater transparency to the claims process, to the benefit of all parties involved.”
The network comprises 120 light commercial and car repairers and 61 heavy commercial repairers across the UK and Northern Ireland.
The network is available for Highway's Choice Truck, Choice Commercial Vehicle, Fleet and Fleetway products. Highway's commercial policyholders have traditionally used the general repair network.
