Highway has rejected a takeover bid from Chaucer.
A statement today said Highway had discussed Chaucer's offer of 44 new Chaucer shares for every 54 Highway shares with its largest shareholders and said the offer was "unlikely to be acceptable to shareholders".
Highway said it was “no longer engaged in discussions with any third parties” about the possibilities of a future takeover bid.
