Higos MD set for further start-up branches
Higos Insurance Services will open an Exeter office from scratch in June.
The office will target personal lines and SME business, and will be Higos’s 19th branch.
Higos managing director Ian Gosden said he decided to open the office because of the lack of suitable acquisition targets.
Gosden said: “We made four acquisitions last year. This year there aren’t so many about, and we are not seeing them if they are.”
Gosden added that if the Exeter office goes well, Higos plans to open three or four new offices every year.
The Exeter office will initially be staffed by acquisitions co-ordinator Caroline Webster, account executive Nick Holway and account executive Arthur Way.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
