Higos Insurance Services is set to launch a non-animated TV advert campaign with the first commercial going out on Tuesday night.

The insurance broker’s advert is due to appear on ITV1 in the West region at 9.15pm during the Coronation Street advertisement break.

Higos managing director Ian Gosden said: “We are excited to be making history with our advertisement and hope it raises awareness of the value of an insurance broker among consumers.

“Higos is fully committed to providing clients with a comprehensive range of products and quality service and we hope our advert reflects this.”

The advert was filmed in the company’s Worle office in March and Higos employee Anna Hodges, based in the Glastonbury branch, has a starring role. The advertisement will air approximately 50 times between 8 – 25 May and will support the company’s 13 offices within the broadcast region.

BIBA chief executive Eric Galbraith said: “We are delighted that Higos Insurance Services is promoting the value of brokers, and the need for adequate insurance and advice in a local television advertising campaign.

“We are sure that it will help to reinforce the messages about broker services and we wish Higos every success with their innovative venture.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
