High street insurer Hill House Hammond has sponsored a new cricketing event, called the City Challenge Zone 6.
The event, run by the Professional Cricketers' Association, is a one-day knockout competition to be held on July 10 at Bristol's Country Ground.
Six city teams – London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Southampton and Manchester – will be represented by professional cricketers, with England Test captains such as Mike Gatting, Ian Botham and Alan Lamb managing the teams.
Hill House Hammond is running a series of advertisements featuring a Rambo-style bug, that it said would “emphasise the spirit of action and adventure”.
