Insurer to be exclusive underwriter for the product
Direct Insurance London Market has launched a recycling, property, plant and business interruption scheme for recycling and waste management businesses, underwritten by Hiscox.
The policies will be offered through Direct Insurance’s Waste Insure and Recyclesure brands.
Direct Insurance group chief executive David Bearman said: “Risks of this nature have faced increasing challenges in obtaining appropriate cover as a result of many markets withdrawing from this area.
“Our 10 year plus continuous experience and specialist knowledge of this fast evolving industry has meant we have developed a unique risk management process and approach, which was recognised by Hiscox.’’
