Lloyd's broker Holman's is set to open an office in Russia.
Chief executive Andrew Holman confirmed that the broker was negotiating a deal to secure a Moscow branch office.
Holman's speciality is wholesale general insurance and reinsurance broking.
The company already works for a number of Russian-based clients.
Earlier this year, Holman's launched an online facility to enable brokers to review and download their accounts in real time.
The new facility links in with Holman's IT system, Websure.
After entering an access number and password, brokers using the facility will be able to access an analysis of cleared and outstanding items.
