The tail-end of Hurricane Gordon is expected to hit Spain and possibly Britain later this week, bringing heavy rain, risks of flooding and winds of up to 75mph.
The storm, which became the 7th named storm of the season on 11 September, was originally forecast to hit North America but its erratic path has seen it swing back towards the Azores and move towards Northern Spain.
