Shane Doyle to report to chief executive Damien Coates
Hyperion-owned managing general agency DUAL has hired Shane Doyle to the new position of deputy chief executive.
Doyle will report to DUAL chief executive Damien Coates, and will support Coates in the delivery of new initiatives and growth. He will join DUAL later this year, subject to regulatory approval.
Doyle previously worked at insurer Zurich, where he was chief 3executive of Zurich Australia and responsible for over $1bn gross written premium and more than 1,200 people in operations in Australia and New Zealand. Before that that he worked for AIG in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.
Hyperion group chief executive David Howden said: “It is excellent for the Group that we have been able to attract someone of such calibre, with significant experience with two major global insurers, AIG and Zurich.”
He added: “I have also known Shane for many years, and I have no doubt that as well as his significant underwriting and management experience he will bring additional energy to our growth plans.”
