The ifs School of Finance is developing an online Competence Maintenance Tool (CMT) focusing on treating customers fairly (TCF) in collaboration with Absolutely Training.

The tool will be rolled out in November 2006 and incorporates modules on:

• Communicating with clients

• Feedback handling

• Preparing for ARROW visits

• Residential lending

• General insurance.

Mark Roberts, head of faculty financial regulation and corporate and academic relationship manager at the ifs, said: “TCF needs to be evident at all levels within firms, and be seen to be addressed in areas such as product design, complaints handling and financial promotions, to name but a few. The new CMT is designed to develop greater understanding of the TCF agenda so that businesses can satisfy both regulatory and customer expectations.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
