Ingenie has partnered with Vauxhall to offer cheap telematics policies for young drivers.
Ingenie will offer an annual policy for £99 to drivers aged 18 to 20 when they buy a new Vauxhall Corsa, providing they have had a licence for at least 12 months.
Policyholders will then be able to receive discounts up to 100% of the premium depending on driving experience.
Drivers will receive updates on their driving style and projected savings approximately every 10 days via a smartphone app.
Ingenie founder and chief executive Richard King said: “We’ve made it our mission to help get young drivers on the road without breaking the bank, and most importantly to keep them safe while they’re there.
“Working with Vauxhall made total sense, since the Corsa is the most popular car insured with us, so we’re expecting plenty of interest in this new deal. I’m more than happy to give the £99 back in full if the young drivers we insure demonstrate consistent safe driving.”
