The win recognises the skill and hard work of staff and loyalty of clients over the past year to make AMG one of the most successful loss adjusting firms in the UK.
The management buy-out at the end of 2005 marked a new era for AMG.
With the backing of Hermes Private Equity, the management team set about transforming the business and enhancing its service offering. This has led to customer service improvements, a reduction in staff attrition levels and more business from new and existing clients.
At the beginning of 2006, AMG appointed Martin Long as chairman and non-executive director. Martin's industry knowledge, business acumen and track record for innovation helped us to deliver against our business objectives and bring further added value to our clients.
Our acquisition in May 2006 of Sigma Claims Solutions, a specialist liability adjuster, has also proven to be a successful move.
Sigma's cultural fit and focus on inspired service and technical excellent has resulted in reciprocal opportunities, shared expertise of best practice and combined access to new markets.
More importantly, the people of AMG have played a key role in transforming the business.
With an improved working environment, open communication and a vigorous training programme, all staff have embraced change which, in turn, has led to customer service improvements.
