Willis is delighted to have been named the Insurance Times National Broker of the Year for 2006, for the second year running.

In a year that has again seen us increase our client base, while maintaining excellent retention levels, we have realised that being a good insurance broker is no longer enough.

It is only by giving clients and prospects compelling reasons to use us that we create competitive advantage, which is why many organisations, from blue-chips through to SMEs and owner-managed businesses continue to see Willis as their broker of choice.

Our client advocacy model and our One Flag approach have proven to be consistent differentiators, while Willis online, our platform for web-based account access has given clients increased flexibility in how their programmes are managed.

The commitment of our associates and their entrepreneurial spirit has been fundamental in this success: flexible, willing to learn, ambitious, hard working, focused on results and maintaining excellence, their ability to deliver effective customer solutions is key.

In 2007, we will again look to raise the bar for insurance broking and risk management brokers, and we are confident that the entrepreneurial spirit and ambition that we engender in all of our associates will allow us to build upon the successes of 2006.

Finally, in the ever changing world of insurance broking one fact remains constant; our clients are the reason we are in business - and we never forget that.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
