Isle of Man tax havens targeted by HMRC

British tax havens for insurers are to be reviewed by the government, the Guardian reports as part of its campaign on tax avoidance by UK companies.

In an article about an HM Revenue & Customs tribunal over a £100m tax saving involving an Isle of Man captive run by high street retailer Dixons to supply its warranty cover, the paper says a review has now been launched of the status of all Britain's tax havens.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
