Aviva, AIG and Prudential among insurers mentioned
Six out of 16 lenders prepared to issue loans of more than £100m are insurers, according to a report by property agent Savills.
AIG, Aviva and Prudential are just some of the names replacing European banks in lending out property loans.
Overall £35bn in loans will be issued this year in the UK, up from £27.5bn.
