The Misys automated quote checking system is to be used by Fortis, Highway and Norwich Union (NU).
The facility allows insurers to test thousands of risks in a matter of minutes prior to the release of rate updates, Misys said.
Automating the testing process reduces the time and costs associated with manual testing, while increasing the volume of testing carried out.
In order to produce their expected risk results, Highway and NU use the facility in conjunction with premier test software from FI Computer Systems.
