InterResolve, the independent claims resolution specialist, and LawAlliance, the UK-wide claimant network of personal injury lawyers, have been appointed to the executive of the Claims Standards Council (CSC).

InterResolve director Simon Goldhill and LawAlliance chairman Chris Lodge will have a role in the development of the CSC's future direction and position as the trade association for the responsible elements of the claims management industry.

Simon Goldhill said: “Direct involvement in the executive at such a crucial time in the CSC's development enables InterResolve and LawAlliance to actively shape its future direction and to ensure the highest standards are set for the benefits of the industry and consumers alike.

“Direct access to the claims management services regulator, Mark Boleat, means we will have an influence over the setting and enforcement of the rules which will affect all involved in the claims management industry.”

The CSC would set high standards for those in the regulated claims management industry and lobby Boleat and the government, together with the FSA and the Law Society to ensure that the public was treated fairly and transparently in all sectors of the market.
