The loss adjuster and claims facility company The Claims People Group has teamed up with New Planet Solutions to develop an online claims management system.
The Claims People Group said it felt the new system would give it a competitive advantage over other loss adjusters,.
It would also let customers communicate more easily with insurance companies.
Barry Whyte of The Claims People Group said people who had bought policies online would expect to be able to claim online.
“Loss adjusters and claims handlers will be expected to provide a service to back up policies that have been sold over the web,” he said.
