JLT Risk Solutions has launched its first sport and entertainment practice in the UK.
The broker said it had expanded its global practice following success in Australia. It will specialise in risk management and project consulting solutions to the sporting and entertainment sector including global events and stadium risks.
The London team will be headed by Tony Venning from the Australian practice. It will include former Marsh employees Duncan Fraser, Jonathan Cole, and James Hopper, who have provided cover for events such as the Rolling Stones tour.
Fraser, partner with JLT Sport and Entertainment said: "The target is to provide solutions in multi-class insurance across professional and amateur sports with particular focus on major sporting events, international federations and entertainment as a whole."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
