The broker makes its fourth hire at new Nottingham office

JLT Specialty has appointed Mark Wilson as account executive in Nottingham.

JLT’s Nottingham office has been open for six months and Wilson is the fourth hire at the branch.

The company said he had joined from a rival Nottingham-based broker.

At JLT, Wilson will manage client relationships and client portfolios.

JLT’s Notthingham head Sally Swann said: “We are delighted that the office is growing so rapidly and we are now able to offer career development opportunities to skilled insurance professionals like Mark.

“His background and expertise are a perfect complement to the services and sectors in which JLT has focused its specialisms.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
