At the Xchanging conference in Brighton last week, the future of the London Market and Lloyd's was discussed. Director of worldwide markets at Lloyd's, Julian James gave a “visionary” presentation, sources said, on the subject of the threats and issues facing the market.
On his slide were written three bullet points: processing, contract certainty, and Kinnect.
One delegate said: “He spoke passionately about the first two points, but then he clicked on to the next slide without even mentioning the third point, Kinnect.”
