Barry Taziker, senior partner at Bolton firm Keoghs, is to retire next May, after 30 years as a partner with the firm. Taziker joined the company in 1968 when the firm had a dozen staff.

Keoghs now has more than 370 employees.

Taziker's role will be split between David Tyson, who will become senior litigation partner, and Alan Robins, who will become senior commercial partner.

David Tyson said: “Barry has played a key role in building up the firm from its high street origins.”
