Companies plan to complete merger next month
Weightmans is planning to merge with fellow law firm Ford & Warren.
The two firms are now in formal contract negotiations and expect to complete the merger in July this year.
The combined company will trade as Weightmans. The merger will add the current Ford & Warren office in Leeds to the group’s existing eight locations.
The merged firm will have 187 Partners and a total headcount of over 1,400 people.
