Building specialist appoints new compliance manager and national contractor manager

Appointment

Specialist building loss adjuster LAS has hired Shellie Woodward as audit and compliance manager and Sean Murphy as national contract manager.

Woodward, previously client operations leader for MITIE Property Solutions, will report to LAS director of client development Ritchie Marshall.

Murphy, who had been running a regional building contractor before joining LAS, will report to chief operating officer Max Dunworth.

LAS chief executive Darren Cooper said: “Both Shellie and Sean are hard-working, highly respected individuals and I’m delighted they have chose to work at LAS.

“The business is undergoing plenty of change as we build our two-hub strategy, and they will make a significant contribution to LAS as it continues to grow its share of the UK building claims management marketplace.”

Woodward said: “Darren painted a compelling picture of LAS and its future prospects, and I am very much looking forward to working alongside him and the rest of the team to deliver our long term objectives.”

Murphy added: “Relationships with contractors are a critical success factor in delivering a quality claims experience for insurer customers, and I am confident I can help further improve this side of LAS business.”
