The industry's top brokers acted on behalf of the Port of New York, the client responsible for New York's financial centre which was attacked by terrorists yesterday.

Brokers Aon, Marsh, Willis and Heath Lambert were all involved in broking the district. Willis broked the districts property, Aon broked the construction, and Marsh and Heath Lambert broked the liability insurance. It is believed that Heath Lambert helped broke certain construction policies with Aon.

Reports so far also suggest that the US Pentagon building in Washington was uninsured and the US government will foot the bill.
