The QBE Fantasy Football Manager of the Month for April is Gary Froggatt an accountant with personal injury claims lawyers Bott & Co with his team The Cloons.

Liverpool's dependable defender Jamie Carragher and Everton's goal scoring midfielder Mikel Arteta have been the stars of Gary's team accumulating 105 points between them. On the secret of his success, the staunch Oldham fan says: "The key is under no circumstances should you pick any Man City players."

But in his midfield, Gary has Joey Barton, who is unlikely to play again this season. "I know, I should have listened to my own advice," he admits.

His choice of team name is interesting. "It is a mickey take of a friend who cannot pronounce clowns, but says cloons," he says. Gary is going to see his team Oldham play Blackpool in the League One play off semi-final first leg on Sunday. "Our chances of progressing will be all over come Sunday evening," says Gary openly.

Meanwhile, the final of the QBE Broker Cup is between Adrian Flux's Alex Field with his team Downham Mungrels and Moorhouse's David Bennett with his Dai Ben's Ballooners.

The winner will receive a Nintendo Wii gaming system.
