Hastings broker Manor Insurance has given direct travel writers one in the eye by winning a prestigious business accolade.
The broker, run by Ian Mantel, won Customer Care category at the 1066 Business Awards.
Mantel picked up his gong last week from ginger footballing legend Alan Ball at a hotel in Battle. "We won based on our new travel plan which provides cover for older people and those with pre-existing health conditions," he said.
