Markel hires marine and energy underwriter

Markel International has appointed Tom Davies as liability underwriter in its marine and energy division.

Davies has eight years’ experience in marine and energy insurance and has spent the last six years at Catlin, most recently in the liability underwriting team.

He will be working with energy and liability underwriter Chris Fenn to develop Markel’s marine and energy liability accounts in London and with Markel’s overseas branch network.
