Seminar topics to include new regulation and employment issues
Markel is to host a series of seminars to inform brokers of recent legal developments affecting client business.
The seminars will cover topics including the new regulations affecting the health and social care sectors, current employment issues and new contract conditions for contractors.
Anne Hudson, business development manager at Markel UK, said: "As a niche insurer, our policyholders face some very specific legal issues. These seminars will help our brokers better appreciate the risks facing their clients and how they can work with us to mitigate those risks."
The seminars, which will include speakers from Janjer, Beachcroft and Simpson & Marwick, will be held at the following locations:
- Glasgow - 4 October
- Birmingham - 5 October
- Manchester - 6 October
- Bristol - 21 October
- London – 22 October
