Role to focus on delivering enterprise risk management to international client base
Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, has appointed Kartina Thomson as a Managing Consultant within its Modelling, Analysis and Design team. Ms Thomson, will focus on delivering enterprise risk management solutions to the team’s international client base, and will be based in London.
Ms Thomson joins Marsh from Aviva, where she was Complex Commercial Pricing Manager in the Commercial Underwriting division.

Based in Marsh’s London office, the Modelling, Analysis and Design team comprises specialist actuaries, statisticians, risk and insurance professionals who deliver risk solutions to clients, including integrated financial and hazard risk solutions, analysis and determination of future loss distributions, evaluation of the use of captive insurance companies and the design of bespoke decision-making models.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
