Marsh is close to completing the sale of its UK yacht business.

The broker has agreed a sale with Sturge Taylor & Associates. The purchase is subject to due diligence but is due to be completed by the end of the year.

John Nicholson, director of Marsh's corporate client practice, said: “A principal element of our growth strategy is to focus on sectors where we can effectively combine our broking and risk management expertise. Consequently, it is appropriate for our UK yacht business to be part of a business which is expanding in this sector. We are pleased that it will be joining Sturge Taylor & Associates as a key part of its product offering and wish it every success for the future”.
