Marsh has launched a scheme to let clients better manage their natural catastrophe risks.

The scheme, NAT CAT Pack, is a bundle of services which includes a reporting tool using Munich Re GeoSpatial Solutions’ natural hazards risks database, ‘NATHAN’.

Under the global licensing agreement with Munich Re, Marsh clients will have access to NATHAN and Marsh’s natural catastrophe experts.

This will allow portfolio assessment analyses of natural hazard exposures at clients' worldwide locations, as well as those of their suppliers.

Marsh clients can also use nat cat exposure assessment, modelling and claims preparation/management.

Marsh Risk Consulting managing director Ron de Bruijn said: “By leveraging the data available through NATHAN and accessing Marsh’s specialist expertise, clients are able to make more informed risk management decisions about loss prevention and resilience, loss mitigation and risk transfer in relation to their natural catastrophe exposures.”
