MCE, the Midland broker, has signed up to Misys Countrywide.
Michael Edwards, MCE's director, said the decision to joing a network, for the first time in its 30-year history, was the result of being able to join a network without losing its independence.
Edwards said: "Countrywide, unlike other networks, allows us to keep our agency agreements in our own name so we have complete control of our insurer partnerships."
