Mike McGill moves from Marketform
Novae has appointed medical malpractice underwriter, Mike McGill, to its growing team.
McGill joins Novae Insurance from Marketform, where he spent ten years underwriting medical malpractice business. Prior to that he spent six years as a medical malpractice Lloyd’s broker with Stafford Knight. He has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry.

Its underwriting philosophy is strongly embedded from senior management throughout the business and that’s very important. The dual platform provided by the Lloyd’s syndicate and the insurance company also provides ideal flexibility to underwrite UK, Irish and international business in the most cost effective way.”
He will report to Bill Edrich who, in addition to his role as Novae Insurance underwriting director, is also group underwriting manager for the medical malpractice team.
Bill Edrich said: “Mike is a highly respected underwriter in this class with broad experience in risk assessment and rating. It’s a feather in our cap to have attracted him to Novae and he’ll be a great asset to the team.”
