I'm sure it wasn't intended to sound as unfeeling as it did, but did David Waller "catastrophes get me going" (Features, 7 April) have to bang on quite so gleefully about the adrenaline rush and how his year was going to be put out of wack by Hurricane Ivan?
After all, he still has a year to plan, unlike the hundred-plus people killed by this event across the Caribbean and the USA.
