MMA has entered the mid-net worth market with MMA Lifestyle. The company claims it is the sector's first full cycle EDI system,

The new product comes as the insurer prepares to announce its best ever year-end results and a new drive to expand its SME book.

MMA has signed as an insurer partner with Willis Commercial Network.

MMA marketing and underwriting director Derek Plummer said: "This product will bridge the gap between standard cover and high net worth solutions."

MMA Lifestyle will be available through Misys' Countrywide network this month with Sirius, CDL and SSP expected to offer full EDI capability in the next few months.

Plummer said: "We developed MMA Lifestyle in direct response to feedback from our brokers for a product with wider cover and higher limits than our standard range."

Lifestyle will cover rebuilding costs up to £750,000 and contents to £120,000.
