Casserley appointed schemes manager
MMA Insurance has appointed Liam Casserley as schemes account manager as it continues to expand its schemes team.
In his new role at MMA Casserley will be responsible for targeting specialist schemes brokers across the whole UK market reporting into schemes manager Chris Withers (pictured). His appointment will aim to ensure that MMA builds on the 50% growth achieved in 2011. He will be tasked specifically with developing profitable growth through the acquisition of existing schemes and building new schemes.
Withers said: “I am delighted to be expanding our dedicated schemes team in response to broker demand. Liam is a knowledgeable insurance professional and I believe his schemes experience and relationships in the industry will help grow both new and existing schemes for MMA.
“Liam brings vast schemes experience to the team and will enhance our philosophy of building long term, sustainable relationships with our brokers.”
Prior to joining MMA, Casserley worked within the new business development team at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. Previously he was also a schemes specialist at Endsleigh Insurance and a senior trading underwriter at Norwich Union.
