Broker-only insurer MMA has launched a customer feedback programme as part of its initiative to raise service standards.

Brokers and intermediaries are being asked to give their opinions, in small focus groups, on a range of MMA products and activities .

These opinions are then reviewed to help the company's management shape its decision making.

MMA's assistant general manager Tony Wright said: “We wanted to create a flow of information into the company from our customers, that we could use to refine our products and services.

“Although this may not be a novel concept, it is already achieving positive results for us on a number of different levels.”

Two focus groups have already taken place and MMA intends to run a further series throughout the year.

Wright said the customer feedback programme was now a permanent feature of MMA's customer care strategy.
