Former head of commercial support joins Salient Solutions
Insurance specialist management consultancy Salient Solutions has appointed former MMA head of commercial support Kate Penrose.
Penrose will be responsible for business development, supporting existing clients with project management services and will also manage research and development activities.
Clare Ryder, managing director and founder of Salient Solutions, said: “Kate’s experience and knowledge of the general insurance market across a wide range of disciplines will further enhance our ability to deliver focused, practical and effective business solutions for insurers, brokers and suppliers alike.”
Penrose added: “The industry is facing a wide range of issues, from responding to challenges in the distribution chain through to creating more responsive and targeted products, so this is a very exciting time to be involved in the work of Salient.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
