A weekend on the booze is costing brokers millions of pounds in sick leave. A new poll helpfully investigated the number of Monday sickies taken by the broking industry, and discovered that eight in ten employees will pull a sickie on Monday morning after a weekend partying.
It also finds that nine in ten have faked illness in order to recover from a hangover. Is anyone really surprised?
