About 600 employees have been made redundant from RIS’s US division

Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) is set to shed jobs in its Risk and Insurance Services (RIS) division this year as part of a cost-cutting initiative. It is understood that US jobs will be primarily affected.

According to a source about 600 employees have been made redundant from RIS’s US division so far. MMC refused to comment.

In the first quarter of this year MMC’s consolidated revenue sunk by 13% to $2.6bn compared to the first quarter of 2008.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
