An item about Aon (Backchat, September 6) stated that some visiting US executives had been late in attending a morning presentation, after a visit to a London nightclub the previous night.
We have been asked to make it clear that neither Dennis Mahoney, chairman and chief executive of Aon, nor the executives were late for any presentation and no senior staff were kept waiting. We apologise to Mr Mahoney and his colleagues.
