Norwegian insurer If P&C has apologised to one of its customer for issuing him with the computer password 'wooden penis 'to enter its network.

According to reports, the man was accidentally given the password -which was generated randomly using part of the customer's name.

But the password created from the man 's full name was 'trrekukk '- which roughly translates as wooden penis.

The 31-year-old man has not been named.

He received a letter from If P&C Insurance inviting him to visit his own personal area on its website.

A company spokesman was quoted as saying: "This was really bad and we offer a grovelling apology.

"We have implemented mechanical block for taboo words and hope it won't happen again."
