Navigant Consulting, a specialized consulting firm providing advisory services to companies, has acquired the Canadian forensic accounting, litigation consulting and business valuation practices of Kroll, the risk consulting subsidiary of Marsh for approximately $20m.
The practices acquired by Navigant Consulting previously operated in Canada as Kroll Lindquist Avey.
Revenue and pro forma operating income in 2004 for the practices acquired were approximately $17m and $3.7m, respectively. The acquisition is expected to be accretive during its first 12 months.
