Broker Direct is to offer its members a number of schemes run by its own members via the network's website.
The Scheme Shop will open with an equestrian product arranged by Broker Direct member, South Essex Insurance Brokers.
Currently, the network, which is run by IIB director general Andrew Paddick, offers only motor insurance related products.
Paddick said Broker Direct would begin to offer more schemes underwritten by its 1,000 plus members.
