Allianz Cornhill has joined Lloyds TSB's household insurance panel following the merger of Norwich Union and CGU.

Steven Ward, Cornhill household insurance manager, said it expected to write up to £2.5m worth of business from the deal during the next 12 months.

He said Lloyds TSB asked Cornhill to join its list of household insurers following the merger of CGU and Norwich Union and London & Edinburgh.

Cornhill joins Axa, Royal & SunAlliance, Zurich Financial Services, Independent, Groupama and Norwich Union on the Lloyds TSB panel.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
