Lloyd’s is regarded as the pre-eminent insurance market, with a massive reputation across the globe.
One renowned micro-sculptor, Willard Wigan, has created a replica of the Lloyd’s building to the exact precision and proportion of the real thing, but sitting on the head of a pin.
The meticulous effort has been praised by Lord Rogers, who designed the iconic structure.
Backchat wonders, however, whether the minuscule piece was commissioned by a bunch of Bermudan insurers looking to do their level best to cut the renowned marketplace down to size.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
