Channel Syndicate to grow marine team
Lloyd’s Channel Syndicate 2015 has appointed Iain Macleod as head of its marine division.
Chief executive Richard Harris said: “We are very pleased to welcome Iain to the syndicate to head up the marine division.
"Iain has a wealth of experience which will be critical as we build our team and develop our marine portfolio.”
Macleod, a London market veteran of more than 25 years, will be joined by a new team shortly, the company said.
The Channel Syndicate was authorised by Lloyd’s in the fourth quarter 2010 to write property direct and facultative, accident and health, marine and financial lines risks.
It is managed by Whittington Capital Management.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
