THB's liability product
THB UK Professionals Risks has launched a liability product specifically for individuals named as "approved persons" by the FSA. The product will be written exclusively by THB under a binding authority from Pembroke Syndicate 4000.

VAT position clarified
Revenue & Customs clarified the VAT position for rehabilitation providers. It agreed that the principle purpose of most rehabilitation services is to improve both the physical and psychological health of the individual. The services are therefore exempt from VAT.
Police to consult insurers
Police in Devon are to contact insurance companies as part of a campaign to crack down on boy racers in Exmouth. Insurers will be informed by the police of any enhancement modifications that may have been made to vehicles to ensure that such changes are covered under the motor policies.
