FSA warns on TCF
Firms that do not meet the FSA's March deadline on treating customers fairly (TCF) could be referred to enforcement, the regulator has warned. Sarah Wilson, director retail firms at the FSA, warned it was entirely reasonable to expect all firms by the end of this month to be well on the way to implementing changes to comply with FSA principles.

Aerospace softening
Results from the final quarter in the aerospace insurance market hint at a softening market in 2007, according to Aon.

Helphire revenue jump
Helphire reported a 41% increase in revenues in the six months to 31 December 2006 to over £126m. Adjusted profit before tax for the period was £20.6m, compared to £13.5m in 2005, a 52% increase.

Driver's mobile misery
Up to 10,000 drivers a year will be pushed into the non-standard insurance bracket for being convicted of using a handheld mobile phone while driving, according to broker Quoteline Direct.

SFO targets Invaro
Collapsed claims farmer, Invaro, is under investigation from the Serious Fraud Office (SFO). The SFO said it had carried out a number of searches at premises in connection with an investigation into Invaro, which folded owing its creditors £85m.

Heath Lambert will increase its focus on mid market and SME retail business following the launch of a new scheme designed for UK trade associations and their members.
